Visitors to our website
When someone visits www.allbrain.org we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to discover the identities of those visiting our website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personal identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personal identifiable information through our website, we will make this clear by outlining when we collect personal information and what we intend to do with it.

Search engine
Our website search is powered by WordPress.com. Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either All Brain or any third party.
Security and performance
We use a third party service, WordPress.com, which is run by Automattic’s Inc., to help maintain the security and performance of this website. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users’ activities on the site, for example the number of users viewing pages on the site, to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it. To deliver these services WordPress processes the IP addresses of visitors to the website. WordPress requires visitors that want to post a comment to enter a name and email address. People who email us
Any email sent to us, including any attachments, may be monitored and used by us for reasons of security and for monitoring compliance with our policy. Email monitoring or blocking software may also be used. Please remember that you are responsible for ensuring that any email you send to us is within the bounds of the law.
Job applicants
Unsolicited job applications will not be processed and will be blocked and deleted by our systems. When individuals apply online to work at All Brain by responding to a job vacancy published on this site, we will only use the information given to us to process applications and monitor recruitment statistics. Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed and will then be destroyed or deleted. We may retain de-personalised statistical information about applicants to facilitate our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from such data.
Access to personal information
Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Directive (95/46/EC). If we hold information about you we will:
- give you a description of it;
- tell you why we are holding it;
- tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
- let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
